Choose the room that you want to add and click ok.
Use the options on the page to specify the settings for the new resource mailbox.
Inside the meeting room the front of the room display and console will show that you are trying to add the room and simply accept the incoming invitation on the console to bring the room into the meeting.

Click the rooms button on the meeting request window.
Click show all if you don t see resources right away.
You will need to give it a name.
We have successfully added a room in outlook 2016.
Schedule a new meeting and add the room or equipment to the meeting like you would when inviting other employees or customers.

The add mailbox window appears where all we have to do is to type in the name of the room that we want to add in the add mailbox text area.
Next click the plus icon to create a new meeting room.
This adds the room as a resource even though it will appear in the to.
Type conf and click ok.
If a room is not scheduled as a resource the meeting request will not be placed on the room resource s calendar auto accept or forwarded to delegates moderated.
This is the name that will be displayed in your outlook calendar.
Click open a shared calendar.
To create a room mailbox click new room mailbox.
Add a meeting subject start time and end time and location.
In outlook 2016 and outlook for microsoft 365 you can start typing a location s name for example fourth coffee shop or conference room 23 and outlook will look for location matches.
