If you don t have active directory users and computers installed on your computer contact your system administrator. Security tab missing issue has been bugging us for a long time. Without this the attribute editor cannot be displayed. The advanced features have to be activated in the active directory users and computers console.

The security tab allows you to grant or deny permissions to other groups and users over the user object. In the right pane right click on remove security tab and click on properties. First you open the member of tab of the user object which you want to edit and then open one of the groups. Close the local group policy editor window and check for the issue.
